I can't believe i haven't written in this for months! Where to start. Well..... at work I have been doing scheduling for the past two months. Once I got past the mind set it became easier. Thank goodness! I have straight days and no weekends - such a hard life eh! hehe

Heather's Bridal shower
My aunt had a bridal shower for her so to be dil. It was hot but a very nice time. Heather and Mike got alot of nice gifts. I remember those days! lol Now its like - well I never use that item (but nice to have) and it sits in the cupboard collecting dust and taking up space. The food was awesome and the cake really delicious!
Miki and Olivia had fun and were really good. Lauren has lent me some scrapbooking magazines. I am thinking of taking this hobby up now too. Brian will kill me for that.
We just cleaned up the garage and can now get the car in. All the kids outdoor toys are in a tote and the stuff that WAS suppose to go for a yard sale is in the trash. The kids haven't asked about a few of the toys for quite awhile so no big loss. One of these days the basement will be pegged for a major over haul. It just might be a good idea for the kids to be at the farm and Brian and I can go through the stuff and just start sorting and tossing.
Well off to do the never ending job of laundry.

Weeding the Garden
Well I finally got the garden weeded. Got a wheel barrow full including the yellow beans. Not many beans on the plants so I decided to sacrifice them for the beets. They are coming along great.
My herbs also are doing well. I have picked them all and will be drying them tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I planted Oregano, Chives, Sweet Basil, Purple Basil, French Thyme, Rosemary, and a Globe Basil. Oh! And Dill.

Housework
Nasty word that is! So far I have gotten 2 loads of laundry done and my room dusted, vacuumed and bed stripped. On wards from here. lol And I thought I wouldn't accomplish anything.
Its 18C out and one load of laundry is out on the line. Working on the next after this post. Hopefully get some of the weeds taken care off too. If not today tomorrow for sure. Have to get the beans picked as that is a priority.
Dam dog is barking at something or someone.
Well the washer is calling me.

Haven't posted in along time
Holy cow! I haven't posted in a long time. Well my neice Olivia had her first sleep over and she did very well. Her older brother Sheldon stayed too and I think it helped. We had lasgana for supper and some snacks. This was a few weeks back. Brian, the kids and I went to Port Austin, MI for a short holiday and had a great time. Looking forward to doing this again. The other posted listed under the 29th is actually from July 12. Don't know where the month has gone but the kids are back in school in almost less than a month! hehehe
Christmas is less than 5 months away and I have no idea of what to get everyone!
Well its the Civic holiday and I picked up a couple of shifts this week. The Matt, Miki and Brian all went to the farm and will be back on Monday. (hopefully) Just Harleigh (the dog) and me. Hoping to accomplish alot but will probablly get NOTHING done. Well its getting late - time to hit the hay so I can do stuff tomorrow. See yeah! Oh yeah! The 1911 Canadian Census is online now. That so rocks!

Boy did I pick a week to go on holidays! Ugh!! Hotter than heck and too hot to go swimming. We went to the farm for the weekend (July 7-10) and the kids had been up there from the previous weekend. They were good for grandma and grandpa and as soon as we got there fight fight fight. I can't believe I haven't posted in almost a month. What have I done? hmmmmm... not much. Worked, alittle yard work but nothing overly done. We did paint Miki's bedroom pink and got rid of the bear border and the grey walls. Turned out nice. Now to finish getting the stuffies and suched sorted. Will have to try and figure out how to link this with other peoples and to see how I can link links. hehe That sounds funny. Well should figure something out for supper as Matt has baseball tonight. Can't believe they will play in this weather. Have I ever mentioned I hate this weather! Later!

Cooler and wet
Well its raining still off and on and its definitely cooler! Brrr! Down to 15C with no humidity.
Haven't knitted anything in a few weeks though I should finish off that baby sweater for a friend of ours. Also need to get a gift down to my ex bil and his new wife and baby son.
My mom and a golfing buddy, faye, were shopping and came out to the Grove for lunch and to get my sisters camera. How it got into my purse is still a mystery to me! Its nicer than mine though. hehe
We had a good time at dad's 69th birthday on the weekend. And I bought a scan disk item that can get my pictures from my digital camera to my computer! yeah
Matt has his final mass of the year and he is getting the Academic award for his class. Definitely does not get it from me. Very proud parents here.
Well that's about it for now.

Its raining! Its pouring! The old man is snoring!
You guest it! Its finally raining here. Yeah!!! From what I understand it is suppose to rain for the next three days. Maybe it will make up for the lack of rain earlier this month. Its still sitting at25 C with a humidex of 35C.
I saw a couple of red finches today. They were so pretty and a robin is still on the side of the pool.
Well just a short postie today. Have to get up early in the morning.

What a day!
Well just posted a bunch of pictures that I have wanted to do since Christmas! lol Can't believe its taken me this long to do it. Now to find out how to put them under a photo section.
Still hotter than heck but my garden is doing great! Its only been a week and the beans are growing like crazy and the beets and carrots are coming along nicely as well.
Well we are heading to my parents for my dads birthday, he's 69 yesterday. Hope to have a good time. I should but with the heat I am staying inside!

A one way tickt to Nunavut !
Okay its way to hot! I really really hate it! Ugh!! It is 32C - 39C with the humidex. Get me out of here! lol Iqaluit, Nunavut temp is 4C and feeling like -1C. That sounds soooo good right now. ((visualizing snow at the moment)).
I am hot , tired and cranky!! I worked all day and it was nice this morning as we thought here might be a thunderstorm. But it didn't happened. It got hotter than heck. Not sure how hot HELL is but if its this warm (probablly warmer) I definitely DON"T want to go. Having a hard time breathing in this heat. No disrespect to our Lord God!!!
Our new windows were installed today. They look great. The downfall is the air was turned off and the house is sitting at 28C. Hopefully have it cooled down for sleeping tonight.
Well off for a swim. The kids have been in the pool already and I think I may go jump in. Its almost 8pm and they ned to get to bed.
Have a good night - if you can. Stay cool, drink lots of water and don't work too hard! ;)
Just watered the garden and my red beets are coming up! yeah!! The only good thing that the weather is doing for me is bring on my garden. Just had to post this.

Hot and Humid again!
Well its hot and humid again here in S-W Ontario. I can't stand it. Ready to move to the Yukon! My son had baseball and I thought I'd die from the heat. I really can't breath to good with it. They tied and only did 3 innings. Yeah! Temperature was about 32C with the humidity.
We hit the pool once we got home. It was really refreshing. Watered all the plants after and the garden is coming along. The beans I planted last week have started to sprout! Can't wait to eat from them later.
Well have to go do some housework. The new windows are being put in tomorrow. Tidied abit.
Now off to bed as tomorrow is another day. Maybe will do some stitching or knitting.

Summer is here and a bit early at that
It is hotter than heck here and as you can tell I am not a hot, humid and hazy person. Give me snow any day! It is 25C or with the humidex its 32 C. And to top it off it will be like this all week. Great! Going to roast to death at work. LOL
Anyway all the veggies are in the garden and some are looking a little wilted due to the above mentioned heat.
We have been using our pool a lot and I have been in 3 times already too. Getting a bit of a tan too.
My sister Lauren, significant other, Ron, their kids Sheldon and Olivia came over last night for a visit. Sheldon went swimming with the kids (he is 12) and Olivia is 20 months old. I dangled her tootsies in the pool and she liked it. We pulled the 4 wheeler out and though its not fun trying to ride on a city lot ( we normally ride it on the farm) everyone enjoyed it. Maybe not the neighbours!
Well morning is going to come early and I have to be at work for 6:45 am. Matt has to play ball tomorrow night as well.
Oh! I finished the furth 3 cross dishcloth and I am going to start the dolphin one tomorrow. :)

Walking about town
Well I actually got out for a walk today. Harleigh (the dog), the kids on their bikes and I went down to the park and back. They wanted to watch a show at 7pm so we were gone for 1/2 hour.
I did another dishcloth today. Same pattern and probablly will do 1 more for a total of 4.
Oh! The tomato plants I wanted to plant last night and never did died or whither today. They just don't look that healthy. Will pick 1 or 2 up at work tomorrow.

Travelling to the farm
I will have to post pictures of the farm but we drove 3 hours up and 3 hours back today to Owen Sound. The weather was awesome and not alot of traffic on the back roads. We had to unload a bunch of stuff we had at home and then came back with another truck load! lol
I brought back 4 beefsteak tomato plants - they are not looking too healthy at the moment but hope to get them into the garden tonight.
I also knitted 2 dish cloths. I used a pattern from the net (will post link later). They are done in white cotton and its called 3 crosses. Looks great. Thinking of doing some for the church bazaar later this year.
The temp hit 20 C today and the pool is sitting at 70F. Only 10 more degrees and I 'll jump in. hehe If it gets warmer (temp wise) I may just go for it.
Our new windows are suppose to come in - hopefully this week as I have three days off.

New blogger
Well this is my first blog and my first note. Cool! Not sure really what to write but it turned out to be a nice day here in S-W Ontario. Had a small rain shower at supper but that was it.
